While Naruto Vol. 42 stays on top position on the Japanese Comic Book Ranking, Vol. 29 on the other hand soars high on its second week on the latest posting from USA Today Top 150 Best-Selling Book. Debuted on #57 last week, Naruto Vol. 29 now held the #44 position for the week of May 5 – 11. Vol. 28 meanwhile dropped off from the listing after its nine-week stint as a best-seller. The world’s most popular manga series from Masashi Kishimoto was serialized in US by Viz Media.

Sasuke stands still in shock and Zetsu wonders if Itachi was really dead. As the rain begins to pour, Zetsu debates how Itachi could have lost the battle and later on concludes that he was either injured before the fight or he overused his Sharingan. Sasuke grins concluded that he won but suddenly collapses next to Itachi. We then cut out to the leaf nins where Captain Yamato comments that their formation wasn’t against Tobi wasn’t working. Naruto and Kiba are certain that they are both on perfect timing and actually hit Tobi with their attacks. Sakura concluded that it could be a bunshin or special genjutsu but Hinata disagreed. Kakashi then said it could’ve been a strange ability or some kind of hidden jutsu and leaves everything to Shino. Susano’o drains Sasuke’s remaining ounce of strength. A small snake slithers from the rubble as Yamata was sealed into a gourd. Itachi winces in pain but confident in his victory over Sasuke. He then comments that Sasuke’s eye belongs to him now. Itachi suddenly grabs his chest and expels some blood, while the armor of the Susano’o begins to fade. Sasuke takes the opportunity to charge a kunai with exploding tags against Itachi, but the armor continues to deflect the attacks and Zetsu comments that it’s probably the Yata’s mirror – another legendary object said to counter any attack and together with Totsuka, one who posses these is unbeatable. Itachi reaches for Sasuke while the latter continues to try his luck by charging a kunai and then later on kusanagi, but Itachi blocked all this attack and suddenly cornered Sasuke on a wall with The Uchiha emblem, and nowhere to run. And as Itachi was about to pluck out Sasuke’s eyes, he suddenly collapses to the ground as the Susano’o armor disperses. The snake then continues to slithers while a stunned Sasuke can only stand still as Itachi lies on the ground beside him, somehow defeated. Uchiha Madara – “One could say he founded the clan in control of every possible scenario. What lies beneath that mask?!”Itachi unleashed Susano’o – the third and final jutsu that he acquired upon awakening both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu and challenged Sasuke to show up his remaining jutsu if there is any and announced that the true fight was about to begin. Zetsu 1 & 2 on the other hand, commented that Sasuke’s Kirin was only good for one-shot. The bones around Itachi begin to materialize into a one-horned figure. From point blank, Orochimaru whispers into Sasuke’s mind and told him that he’s willing to lend him his power and help him to defeat Itachi. Sasuke falls to his knees and white snakes erupts from Sasuke’s shoulder. Zetsu 1 & 2 commented that Sasuke has been suppressing Orochimaru’s chakra ever since and with Sasuke out of his own chakra gives windows to Orochimaru to finally be freed. Itachi on the other hand, commented that he foresee that something like this will happen – of Orochimaru using his hydra technique. The hydra charges against Susano’o but the latter creates a sword and eventually chopped the one of the hydras head. Susano’o beat the entire hydra as Orochimaru himself emerges on the mouth of the final snake. Zetsu comments that it grosses him up every time Orochimaru barfs from the snake and he himself barfs something. Orochimaru then barf a sword and claims that the time has finally come for him to defeat Itachi. But before he could even said his piece a sword pierces through him. At first he thought that it is just a usual sword and later on he figured it out that it was the legendary totsuka. Totsuka, also known as sakegari’s katana is said to be carry sealing powers that anything and anyone it pierces becomes trapped in a blissful dream-like genjutsu… forever.
