Naruto Shippuuden: The Movie 2 is the fifth overall Naruto film and second Naruto Shippuuden film based on the popular anime and manga series scheduled for release in Summer 2008. The movie was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump along with the DVD release date for the first movie. The teaser which was aired along with Naruto Shippuuden Episodes 040-041 reveals Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki fighting something in the darkness. Historically speaking, Naruto Movies were released by the month of August so most likely; this 2nd Shippuuden Movie installment will hit Japan theatres by the same month.
