It seems that up to this moment, nobody knows if Kakashi Gaiden and eventually Naruto Part II will start after Episode 204 of which until now runs a filler arc. The very last airing of Naruto on its Wednesday timeslot would be on September 27, and will move on its new Thursday slot. Bleach [also my favorite Anime] will take the Wednesday slot of Naruto. Effectively date on Naruto change of slot would be on October 5. And to commemorate this move, Naruto will have a 90-minutes special filler episodes (contains 3 episodes). Let me just clarify that the intention of this special episode was to “commemorate” its move on Thursday slots and not about Kakashi Gaiden. The previous arc on Anime about Gennou was a good one though I see some loopholes on the story but it was a good and refreshing episode seeing the Konoha 11 assembles after almost a year since its filler runs. The Naruto Manga on the other hand, was also doing good and every scene was worth-reading. At least am enjoying the Anime even if it runs filler episodes as well as my 2-minute reading pleasure of the Manga. I guess I need not to complain even if the producer continue to run filler episodes. I mean Naruto was nominated on the prestigious Quill Awards, the book were consistent top-seller on US according to USAToday and number one on its book genre, so I guess I have nothing much to complain about. And the fact that an episode of Anime covers about 2-3 chapters of Manga, soon enough Anime will get head-to-head again with Manga. Though am very much aware that fans are getting pissed off with the filler arcs. Oh well, let’s just wish luck Naruto on its move on Thursday slot and Bleach as well. Based on the preview from episode 201 of the Anime, it seems that Sasuke will appear on the special episode. That’s all for now.

Another Quality Moment with my Family
We woke up early this morning [actually yesterday] to give our parents a visit there at Anilao, Batangas, so that means that I have to cut my weekend routine of getting up on bed at 4pm or so. We left Lipa after we had lunch. The trip took about an hour-and-a-half. Soon enough, we arrived at Anilao around 2pm.
The visit didn’t took that long. It only lasted for About 3 hours I guess. We seldom go to our place in Anilao. The last time we get there was during my sister’s wedding last March 11. Hopefully, after this visit, our next stop would be on Lenten Season then at Christmas. Soon enough we packed-up our things, we had fresh fruits and vegetables with us to take back at Lipa. My mother even gave me some spare for me to bring when I get back in Manila.
We left the house then decided to head on my sister’s place. We drop by there also because were missing them so much too. We had some DVD stuffs for my nephew who’s damned good at taekwando at age of 11 [if am not mistaken]. He and his Dad are out probably for his training so we only got a chance to chat with my sister and do a little rearing on my four-month old nephew who’s damned cute. The baby was kinda heavy but it worth carrying him. He’s so adorable and can really jive on you when am doing a “peak-a-boo”. We then bid goodbye on my sister and her adorable child and handed her the research paper for my nephew I had done last week. We are now heading back to Lipa. About few meters away from our place, I oversee the best “lomi-house” house on Lipa [I assume] so I decided to give them a treat [hey, our neighbors at Lipa are with us].
The day ends well. Hmm… maybe not! Why? Soon enough we arrived at our place, after resting, my sister and I decided to take a good sleep that early. Bad thing is, we woke up around 10pm. After watching TV, we went again to our bed, unfortunately she can’t sleep and so do I. As of this writing my younger sister and I are still up. We can’t take it anymore so she turned on her radio, grabbed her books for the upcoming nursing licensure exam this December and do the review, while I grabbed this fucking laptop whose probably had a problem with its power cable, and decided to go online and do the blogging. Problem is, my sister was going attend morning mass tomorrow and she’s still up up to this moment, while on my part its really okay for me to stay up this late since am attending the afternoon mass. Well, sure I did have a wonderful weekend. Hopefully, I have a great week ahead.

A Perfect Getaway Experience
My sister got married last March 11, 2006, incidentally, it’s my big brother’s birthday too so it was a double celebration. It was a good excuse for all of us to have a break from our respective work and live a life away from the metro even for just a couple of days or so. Family, relatives, friends are gathered together in this very special moment for my sister. The reception was held at our residence in Anilao – famous for beaches and diving spots.
The next day, we’ve decided to take a tour at our farm. I personally was very excited to reunite with my cousins, taking a chit-chat along the way. We’ll we’ve been battling over the videoke the last night so this was the perfect time to say “hi” and “hello’s”. We headed to our farm that houses various kinds of crops like: corns; bananas,; mangoes, avocados; peanuts; jackfruits; melons; coconuts; and well almost everything. Along the way, you will feel relax seeing green mountains, blue skies, fresh air, everything is perfect.
The farm was just a walking distance from our place, around 10-15 minutes. It’s a peak season for coconuts so we’ve got plenty to eat. Everytime you’ll see the beautiful mountain along the way, you can’t resist but to take a deep breath and whisper “aaahh… such a wonderful place”. None of us brought digital camera so I have to take out my camera phone. There are bunch of mp3’s and music videos on my camera phone. Problem is, its running out of memory so I have to delete most of the files. We’ll I can transfer the songs and the videos again since their on our laptop. And then, I started taking pictures and everything. Everytime I preview them, can’t help but have a sigh.
Done with the tour on the farm. We then headed to the beach. Special guests stay at the beach after the reception. We’ve come to visit also my elder sister who’s living at the resort. And here we go again, taking a deep breath, and stupefies with the beautiful sceneries, the beach, the water, the blue sky, fresh air, everything. It could’ve been a perfect time for me to take a swim, unfortunately, I don’t have brought spare clothes, and so what I did was just to take a picture on the guys who’s enjoying a swim.
Sure my camera phone runs again out of memory. Saddest part is we have to leave the resort and heads back to the metro and embrace the fact that the next day was in fact a working day, hey its Monday again. Below are the pictures I’ve taken down through my camera phone. Please take note that the photos are “virgin”. No tricks was done, haven’t touch any single pixel of it. I just embedded watermark of my name to protect copyright on it. I believe the picture could’ve been much better if we have with us digital picture that time.That experience will forever be in my mind.

Leakage on Nurse Licensure Exam in the Philippines
My sister lost the licensure exam for Nurses which was held last June 11 & 12. Until now, my sister was deeply saddened on the results because unfortunately, she didn’t make it. But what freaks out the nation was the rumor that there had been a leakage on the licensure exam. Soon enough, it was proved that there actually was a “leakage”. Some of those who are involved on the allegedly “leakage” confessed already. Friday last week, the Court of Appeals stop the oath-taking of the newly registered Nurses but too late, parts of the province held their oath-taking.
Options are: retake of the full-exam; retake of tests 3 & 5; those who failed can have their retake by December for “free”; and those who already passed can re-take the exam if they want by December. Was that a bull-shit? Where’s the standard on it? You just say “you can take the exam for free if you want”? Was that a bargain or what? I don’t know very much about their standard but the logic is there has been a leakage. Sounds unfair to those who’d already passed, saying the exam was a “brain-drain” one, but I guess the exam should be considered null.
Now, hospitals at the metro were alarmed by the issue. Top hospitals such as St. Luke and Philippine General Hospital expressed their disappointment set by Philippine Nursing Association. They also mentioned they’re going to implement strict monitoring on their incoming applicants. If they are from the testing center, where the alleged “leakage” came from, well they’re out of will review the smallest detail of them. Sounds a bit discriminating but I guess it’s fair enough.
Saddest parts are, Philippines already lost its bid for accreditation as a venue for American licensure exams for foreign nurses; and the fact that Filipino nurses cater almost every part of the world, I guess with this honest mistake, it will be the other way around.
Until now, my little sister was like shrouded by a dark cloud. She’s still crying over it, what went wrong question and everything. As early as now, she’s starting to review her manuals, skipping watching a movie. We always tell her that still she’s lucky that her testing center wasn’t involved on such malicious acts, cause that would be a different experience and will haunt her forever just in case.
I guess, I need not much to say. Philippine Nursing Association and Professional Regulation Commission along with Philippine Senate should work on this before it’s too late. One more thing, the 2nd part of the exam took place last June 12. Incidentally, it’s “Philippines Independence Day”.
How sad.
